Owner will leave home environment functional and clean prior to sit. If the home is not clean or functional upon my arrival, I will complete the booked sit and will not accept future bookings.
Owner will provide emergency contact information prior to sit.
Owner will provide clear time expectations prior to sit agreement, including expected arrival date and time and departure date and time.
Owner will provide accurate information about pet behaviors (and any issues) prior to sit agreement.
I work with dogs who have basic manners and training. This helps keep our time together safe, positive, and fun.
For example, I may not be able to accept dogs who:
Play bite, mouth, or nip at hands, wrists, or clothing
Jump on people in a way that can’t be redirected
Show aggressive, reactive, or unsafe behavior
Are inconsistent with sit, stay, or recall commands
Pull while walking
Demonstrate uncontrollable prey drive
Owner understands that an additional fee is required if caring for your pet involves me taking time off from my regularly scheduled work.
Owner will provide adequate food and supplies such as leashes, medicine, brushes, etc. for pet care prior to sit.
Owner will share information about security systems and provide contact and schedule information for others occupying or working on the property.
Note: I do not offer care in homes with other occupants on the property, such as extended family members or roommates.
Owner will provide clear vet and medical information prior to sit agreement.
Owner agrees to set payment plan prior to sit confirmation. Payment is due in full before the first day of the sit.
Standard Notice: Cancellations require at least 14 days' notice.
Late Cancellations: Less than 14 days’ notice = 20% of total service cost.
48-hour or less Cancellations: No refunds.
Emergency Exceptions
Cancellation fees may be waived at my discretion in cases of genuine emergency.
Future Service Credit
Refunds are issued as credit toward future services, valid for 3 months.
Non-Refundable Deposits
For first-time clients booking 10+ days or holiday sits, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due 14 days before the start date.
